Who is Eligible for the Canada Greener Homes Grant & Canada Greener Homes Loan?
Anyone who owns a home in Canada is eligible for the Canada Greener Homes Grant. The Canada Greener Homes Grant has two main criteria:
- Canadian homeowner with proof of primary residence.
- Have not started the renovation project prior to registration.

Steps for Canada Greener Homes Grant
- Apply for Canada Greener Home Grant HERE.
- After your application is approved, book your Pre-Retrofit Energy Audit with an approved NRCAN organization.
- Once your Canada Greener Homes Grant Pre-Retrofit Audit is completed, book your solar installation with Rocky Mountain Solar Co.
- Once the solar install is completed, book a Canada Greener Homes Grant Post-Retrofit Audit.
- Submit all necessary documentation on your Canada Greener Homes Grant Portal.
- NRCAN will mail a cheque or direct deposit your eligible Canada Greener Homes Grant amount.

Steps for Canada Greener Homes Loan
- Apply for Canada Greener Home Grant HERE.
- After your application is approved, book your Pre-Retrofit Energy Audit with an approved NRCAN organization.
- Once your Canada Greener Homes Grant Pre-Retrofit Audit is completed, you are eligible to apply for the Canada Greener Homes Loan.
- After your Canada Greener Homes Loan is approved, schedule your solar install with Rocky Mountain Solar Co.
- Once the solar installation is complete, book your Canada Greener Homes Grant Post-Retrofit Audit.
- Submit all necessary documentation on your Canada Greener Homes Grant Portal.
- Receive your Canada Greener Homes Grant and Canada Greener homes loan funds from the Federal Government.
