Reporting to the Superintendent, the Solar Installer is a 1-3 year Electrician Apprentice, who will provide hands on assistance in supporting solar systems installations on commercial and residential properties.

• Learning the overall installation of photovoltaic (PV) solar panel systems in a safe, clean and professional manner
• Become competent with installing solar modules, inverters, other electrical equipment and solar instruments
• Ability to read project package which includes single line drawings designed specifically for each project
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and solar systems as required

Direct and supervise Solar Installers and laborers with the installations of solar systems on residential and commercial projects.  As Crew Lead, you are responsible for the training, safety, motivation, and managing of employees on a project-by-project basis.

• Supervise the day-to-day operations and provide direct supervision to Solar Installers and Labourers
• Review SLD’s to ensure equipment and plan is consistent with project start form
• Planning and delegating appropriate tasks to crew members
• Providing crew with overall project road map
• Regularly updates Project Manager and Superintendent on project progress and safety
• Enforcing RMSC quality of work based on company compliance standards
• Review and implement the material list, project start forms and pictures provided by Project Manager
• Mentorship and support with on-the-job training plans for field employees

Reporting to the General Manager, the Project Manager, will manage multiple projects provide hands on assistance in supporting solar systems installations on commercial and residential properties.

• Lead and coordinate the planning, execution and delivery for residential and commercial solar projects
• Oversee all stages of project from planning, execution and wrap-up
• Act as a trusted point of contact for our customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Plan, organize and direct daily and weekly activities for production team
• Communicate project scope and deliverables to Superintend and Crew Leads
• Monitor project progress and determine next steps when barriers happen
• Obtain all necessary permits and licenses
• Support in building relationships between customers and production teams
