The ESB Program Team sent out the following Update:
Good morning,
As a follow-up to our March 17, 2021 email, solar PV applications have now reached 30 per cent of the total ESB incentive budget. As a result, we will no longer be accepting new solar applications for pre-approval.
If you submitted a solar PV project application before this notice, thank you for your submission and for your patience as we review your application. Please note there is currently a delay in processing these applications due to the high volume received.
We are excited to have reached this milestone in the ESB program. The level of program uptake for solar PV means that a large number of projects across the province will be directly supporting Alberta’s economic recovery, creating and maintaining jobs, saving businesses money, and driving emissions reductions. We look forward to continuing to work with these projects as they complete their construction over the coming months.
We encourage participants to keep submitting applications for a range of projects.
Please note: If you delete your Solar PV application after it is submitted and under review or in the Information Request process, you will lose the application and will not be able to re-add it.
